We asked some of the parents of current Little Buds children to tell us what they thought of us.  This is what they said:
Isaac and Esther’s Parents We cannot speak highly enough of Little Buds and the nursery workers there. The nursery is a loving, caring environment where the children are encouraged to fulfill their potential and explore the world around them, and to have lots of fun along the way! The staff are creative, friendly and extremely hard working and have become good family friends. They are incredibly sensitive to each child's individual needs, while encouraging them to feel part of the group. Our children take part in a large range of activities both in and out of the setting, and a good routine is in place which they have really responded to. Finally, the staff go out of their way to be flexible and accommodating which we very much appreciate in these busy times! Tess’s Mum From Tess’s point of view Little Buds is ideal. She adores the staff and is always looking forward to the days she spends there. She has terrific busy days with lots of singing and music, imaginative play, stories, great craft activities and lots of chatting with the staff. They go off on outings to the park and the library as well as more ambitious trips to galleries and the seaside. The space is big and nicely laid out so she can choose what she wants to do and they have a good routine so she never comes home fretful. The staff are so kind and caring and know Tess’s personality well. From my point of view the fact that she is so happy is the main thing that makes me happy with Little Buds. On top of that I get a lot of feedback from the staff, there’s a newsletter and we get a weekly menu sent home so I know she’s eating well-planned healthy food. There are lots of occasions organised to bring parents into the nursery, parties, craft sessions and outings. I’ve also spent several days there working on a mural that I painted for them and it was lovely to watch everyone having such a happy time. Tess hardly paid me any attention at all she was so busy off having fun with her friends! Stella’s Mum Stella has been looked after by Jocelyn, Christine and Valerie for about a year now, since she was 20 months old. She has really grown in confidence and skills since she has been with them and always comes home from her day full of stories about the activities she has taken part in. I particularly love the way she refers to her nursery friends and carers as "the Little Buds family". It really is like having a second family. Laurie’s Mum My son Laurie attended Little Buds and formerly Apple Tree Nursery (where Jocelyn was a managing partner) for a total of 2 years. I cannot praise Little Buds enough. The enthusiasm and dedication of Jocelyn and her staff is outstanding. Laurie loved his time there and benefitted hugely in his confidence and social skills. The range of activities offered is fantastic - including ice skating, dancing and creative play. I was also impressed with the adventurous trips the children get to go on, including the London Eye, London Aquarium, canal trips and farm visits as well as regular visits to the park and library. All in all an amazing nursery with caring, professional, highly motivated and above all fun staff who have many years of experience between them. Mack’s Parents Our 3 yr old son Mack attends Little Buds 2 days a week, he is very happy there. It is a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for children to be in. There are always plenty of activities for the children to get involved with, and plenty of cuddles on offer too. When we see Mack at the end of the day he always has a big grin and rosy cheeks, we would recommend Little Buds to anyone with a toddler or two! Pearl and Mercy’s Mum Both of my children have been in the care of Jocelyn, Christine and Valerie since they started nursery three years ago. They couldn’t have been happier and nor could I. Little Buds is a very loving, very stimulating environment. Jocelyn’s imagination and professionalism ensure that the children are all well looked after and very happy things. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
